Cut & Joint
SIPTEC
specialise in the manufacture of Structural
Insulated Panels to suit your design, we don't
produce stock kit houses. All "Siphouse" 2000
homes are either converted from clients drawings
or custom designed by leading UK architects.
*Building control call for working drawings and
structural calculations on all building
projects, we can convert your standard drawings
to SIP construction and supply the required
drawings and calcs*.
SIPs are priced by the square mtr. The price
varies with the core thickness panel length and
quantity purchased. Sips are supplied as just
panels (the cheapest option) or we can cut them to
fit your design requirements preparing all
the window/door apertures and supplying all the
sole plates connection elements, fixing etc.
Siptec can also supply totally prefabricated solutions RTA, (ready to assembly) story height
building elevations etc.
Sip-roofing modules are now available up to 9
mtrs in length x 1.2 mtrs x 150 mm, 180 mm & 230
mm. We can give square mtr pricing, but due to
our type of construction system, we prefer to
quote each plan here on an individual basis,
this helps us to provide you with a more
accurate, like for like pricing. The more
detailed the drawing, the more efficient the
estimate.
We have crews
available who can erect buildings or for day
rate fees we can provide on site tuition and
training to self builders and contractors. We
can also rent/loan you specialised tooling
against a credit card if required.
We cannot scale off drawings without dimensions
or provide estimates from verbal information.
The following is
the protocol for getting started:
 | Send us your drawing, we
will then send you an estimate on what SIPTEC
panels will cost for your design

| If you approve the
estimate, on receipt of your deposit &
acceptance, we will commence full SIP panel
layout & working drawings as required. The
cost of this is normally in addition to a
Cut & Join/ supply and erect price, in the
case of panel supply only these cost are to
your account.
Our Structural Engineer will carry out all
necessary structural calculations and then
certify the design
The drawings will be sent to you for review
and approval. |
| Upon final approval of
the overall plan, SIPTEC will begin the
construction and assembly of the high
quality panels for your project.

NB
When purchasing Sips you should be aware that:
| A PU cored SIPS Give at
least 40% more Insulation value than EPS.
|
| Pressure Injection
manufacture gives a SIP Peel strength 300%
better than a laminated EPS Panel.
|
| Fire performance for a
PUR sip is far
superior to an EPS cored SIP.
|
| As PU Sips give superior
performance for a given thickness it follows
that ancillary timbers, wall & floor plates
etc are smaller and therefore PU sips become
more cost effective.

| SIPTEC have completed The
most extensive SIP testing program ever
carried out in the UK on Structural
Insulated panels. We have data on Racking,
Vertical UDL, Uplift, Horizontal UDL,
Eccentric compressive loads, Compressive
Strength, Creep, Concentrated load, thermal
conductivity, tensile, sheer, peel strength,
etc |
NOTE: From start to finish, it
typically takes 4-6 weeks to delivery.
