Internal & external walls, roofs floors and partition walls load & non load bearing.

Oriented Strand Board OSB3 is a engineered wood panel produced from sustainable timber resources, assembled with isocyanurate adhesive, it has good moisture resistance, no off gassing, good screw & nail retention and has a certified life expectancy better than 60 years in all a superior product to the ply wood we used to produce sips with 20 years ago.

In our opinion the practice of applying polymer renders (acrylic plastics)  direct to OSB sip facings is ill advised, there are many documented cases in the USA of OSB and plywood facings rotting out after stucco was applied externally.

OSB 4 is classed as waterproof, we have found this product to be even more water resistant than marine plywood.!

Core Characteristics
All Siptec sips use a HCFC free PUR core which has a zero rated ozone depletion factor

CPB

Cement Particle Board CPB is a composite board usually made from wood chips and cement (sometimes from cellulose fiber) CPB is a class O building board, good fire resistance, impervious to water and frost, it is a good substrate to apply polymer render to though sand cement renders require a mesh fixing to face. CPB is heavy, dirty to cut and is very brittle. Siptec developed the use of cpb to make SIPS over 15 years ago in a plant in Greece,  we have gained a lot of experience in its application. CPB Sips from some manufacturers display  very poor adhesion to PU & EPS foam Cores. Siptec have production methods that avoid such Problems.
SIPTEC ECO -TEC Wall

Developed to over come all of the criticisms  we have heard about Sips over the years.

The facings are ECO-BIO COMPATIBLE, Electrics can safely be rebated into the 50 mm thick facing, Cement render can be directly applied with out fear of cracking or falling off. Plaster board  can be fixed hard onto inner facing (no Gap). Excellent fire resistance Superb acoustic reduction unmatched by any other sip manufacturer For Further Technical Details click here
